Joanne Watkins

Joanne Watkins, President & CEO, spent 20 years as Founder and President of a worldwide multimedia production and distribution company, where she was an award-winning producer of 11 feature films and several television and educational programs, including the acquisition and distribution of a 60-title international film library. In her passionate quest for freedom of expression and respect for human rights, Joanne became one of the national developers and lecturers of targeted information exploring International Humanitarian Law for the American Red Cross. Her position as a Disaster Action Team Leader and Client Services Supervisor for disaster relief, damage assessment, and disbursement of services for the American Red Cross made her become part of the relief effort at ground zero in the aftermath of September 11th and Hurricane Katrina, along with many other local and national disasters over the last decade. Joanne is a member of numerous non-profit organizations and has spent time as an invited guest at the United Nations as well as International Leadership and World Peace conferences, traveling as an Ambassador for Peace in India, South Korea, Washington, DC, and New York City. 

 


Ingrid Stellmacher, Director of International Affairs, is the Founder of the International Commission of Peace (ICOP), based in the United Kingdom. She is currently the Head of Policy for Conflict Resolution at UK Independent Think Tank, the Human City Institute, and Founder of The International Mary Foundation. Ingrid is a former freelance print and television journalist specializing in current affairs. She attended the National Film and Television School, specializing in film production, before joining Kings Road Entertainment, Inc. in 2000 as head of European Television and Documentary Film sector. She attended a Senior Policy Maker's Program from the United Nations Disaster Management Training Program at the Peace Institute in Romania in 2004. In the same year, she attended the International Student Symposium on Mediation and Conflict Resolution at the University of Rotterdam in The Netherlands, taking the Track II Diplomacy route. Advisor to several international organizations, Ingrid is an advocate of investing in stability by developing human and economic resources. She is also dedicated to combining the tools, skills, knowledge, and wisdom available across all disciplines and traditions in the process of peace building, justice, and equality.

Dawn A. Dalrymple serves as the Executive Director of The Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA, a branch of    the Central Connecticut Coast Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). Dawn has over 15 years of  YMCA experience in operations assessment, training, supervision, strategic planning, board development,  international initiatives, and fund development. During her YMCA tenure, she has led efforts in raising  over $1 million to support children and families in need throughout her service areas. She has a  Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management and Health Sciences from Mount Vernon Nazarene  College in Ohio. Dawn is very much involved in the community, as well as other non-profit agencies.  She is the past president of The Trumbull Rotary Club, and sits on the First Selectman’s Prevention  Council, Bridgeport Hospital Advisory Committee, Trumbull Relay for Life Committee, Trumbull Youth Commission, and The Trumbull Youth Drug Awareness and Prevention Council. She is a member of the  Association of Fund Development Professionals, North American YMCA Development Organization,  Trumbull Chamber, and Trumbull Business Education Initiative. In addition, she is a member of  Women’s Federation for World Peace where she became an Ambassador for Peace. Dawn is passionate  about helping to strengthen the foundations of community by bringing people together from all walks of  life. This, she believes, is demonstrated through nurturing the potential of children, promoting healthy  living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility to ensure that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow, and thrive.
